Food Access Interest Group

The Food Access Interest Group is focused on issues related to access to healthy foods and beverages in support of childhood obesity prevention.

CLOCC connects advocates, practitioners, policy makers, and others whose work and interests align with food and beverage access priorities. We are particularly focused on community-level interventions that increase healthy food and beverage retail, healthy food and beverage in emergency food systems, and connecting Chicago residents and communities to other sources of healthy food. Our meetings include conversations with experts in the field, group discussions on common interests, and sharing works in progress.
