Governmental Policies and Programs

This group will use data to identify factors to consider when dealing with this issue in the government arena. It will also identify resources for health care and childcare professionals using the new pediatric growth charts (Body Mass Index - BMI) in school and public health settings, related to children from preschool through high school age. In addition, it will collect an inventory of strongly recommended community-based intervention programs. Also, this group will identify available federal and state resources.
