CO-OP: Englewood
CO-OP: Englewood (Community Organizing for Obesity Prevention) is a program that seeks to build a network of community groups to create community-based strategies for childhood obesity prevention. The lead organization of CO-OP: Englewood is Teamwork Englewood.
CO-OP: Englewood Releases Survey Results
In the summer of 2009, Teamwork Englewood/Strategy 5 and CLOOC surveyed Englewood residents. The survey gathered information about healthy lifestyle behaviors and weight. The goal was to provide information to the community for program design and funding proposals for adults and children. The survey results also provide baseline information for future evaluations of community health improvement efforts.
